Position Overview: We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Community Engagement Volunteers. As a volunteer, you will play a key role in connecting with our community, supporting events, and contributing to the overall success of our mission. Each Volunteer will only have to focus on individual tasks and responsibilities and those will be allocated according to the strengths of the team.
Responsibilities:
  1. Event Support: Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of live music events and workshops that promote and celebrate women and LGBTQIA musicians.
  2. Community Outreach: Engage with local communities to raise awareness about our charity, share information about our programs, and connect with potential collaborators, feeding information back to improve our work.
  3. Social Media and Promotion: Contribute to our online presence by sharing content, promoting events, and interacting with our community on social media platforms.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with the charity's team to identify and explore collaboration opportunities with like-minded organizations and individuals.
  5. Artist Support: Help our artists find opportunities for live performances or industry connections, provide guidance for their music releases, and communicate with the team for any needs that might arise.
  6. Advocacy: Advocate for diversity and inclusion in the music industry, promoting our mission and values.
Qualifications:
  • Passion for promoting diversity and inclusion in the music industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when necessary.
  • Enthusiasm for live music and a commitment to supporting underrepresented musicians.
Time Commitment: Flexible hours. Evening and weekend availability may be required for events.

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our Board of Trustees as we continue to expand our impact. As a Trustee, you will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of the charity, ensuring that we effectively fulfill our mission and support the vibrant community of women and LGBTQIA musicians.
Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of the organization's strategic plan, ensuring alignment with our mission and goals.
  2. Governance: Provide oversight and guidance on organizational policies, financial management, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  3. Advocacy and Networking: Act as an ambassador for the charity, building relationships with stakeholders, potential partners, and the wider community to enhance our impact and reach.
  4. Fundraising: Support fundraising efforts by identifying potential donors, sponsors, and grant opportunities, as well as participating in fundraising events.
  5. Program Evaluation: Collaborate with the executive team to assess and enhance the effectiveness of our programs and initiatives.
  6. Diversity and Inclusion: Advocate for diversity and inclusion within the organization and the broader music industry.
Qualifications:
  • Passion for and commitment to the mission of empowering women and LGBTQIA musicians.
  • Previous experience in a governance or leadership role, preferably within the nonprofit sector.
  • Understanding of the challenges faced by underrepresented groups in the music industry.
  • Strong communication and networking skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
